Do you require power? Power is an additional $10 per market. *
Total power draw per power point socket in power box should not exceed 2400W for a 10A socket or 3600W for a 15A socket. Each electrical appliance should indicate its power consumption. A maximum of two (2) power extension cords are allowed per stall. All electrical appliances/power cords and extension cords must be “tested and tagged” (the tag must not be expired). Please consult the NSW Food Authority’s Guidelines for Food Businesses at Temporary Events (http://www.foodauthority.nsw.gov.au/_Documents/retail/temp_events_guideline.pdf) to check your proposed stall meets all requirements, and advise your activity to the NSW Food Authority. All vendors who are deemed to be a “food business” by the Guidelines (see pg. 4) will be expected to operate in accordance with the Guidelines. Moreover, in accordance with the Guidelines, certain vendors will be expected to appoint a Food Safety Supervisor (FSS). These vendors are those that sell food that is ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous (requiring temperature control) and not sold and served in the supplier’s original packaging.
